Dr. Charline Anselme works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Anselme's dedication to continuing education that our Colonial Heights patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available. Dr. Charline Anselme was raised in Fort Lauderdale Florida. After high school she graduated from the University of Miami. Following a successful and involved college career she eventually pursued her interest in medicine and eye care at Inter-American University of Puerto Rico College of Optometry, earning Bachelor of Science and Doctoral degrees. Upon graduation she moved to Central Virginia and began her career in private practice with the purchase of a small office in Glen Allen. That was followed a year later when she started Comprehensive Eyecare of Virginia. Dr. Anselme has continuously dedicated herself to professional development and is deeply committed to patient care and satisfaction. Her memberships include the American Optometric Association, The Richmond Optometric Soctiey and the Virginia Optometric Association Patients appreciate her lively and outgoing personality as well as her dedication and personalized attention to their care. Her professional specialties include vast experience in difficult to fit contact lenses and treatment of eye disease.
