Eye Exams for Every Stage of Life

Your eyes deserve the best care, no matter your age! Regular eye exams are crucial for maintaining clear vision and detecting potential issues early. Peak Eyecare Optometry offers comprehensive eye exams tailored to every stage of life — from infants to seniors.

How Often Should You Get an Eye Exam?

  • Children (0-18 Years): The first exam is at six months, then at age three, and before starting school. School-aged children need check-ups every 1 to 2 years.
  • Adults (19-40 Years): Eye exams every two years, or more frequently if you wear glasses or contacts or have a family history of eye conditions.
  • Adults (40-60 Years): Annual eye exams to monitor age-related changes like presbyopia, cataracts, and glaucoma.
  • Seniors (60+ Years): Continue with yearly eye exams to keep your vision sharp and manage the risk of eye diseases.

Take care of your vision. Book an eye exam for yourself or a loved one and see the difference regular check-ups can make!
