It’s Women’s Eye Health & Safety Month, which means it’s time to think about your eyes.
Many sight-threatening diseases can sneak up on you before symptoms are noticed and cause permanent damage and vision loss. These diseases can be detected early on during an eye exam, enabling early treatment and reducing your chances of vision loss.
If you are over 40 or have diabetes, your risk of developing eye disease is even greater.
Moreover, as we age, our eyes change and our vision can change as well. Presbyopia, cataracts and dry eye syndrome are just a few examples of eye conditions that can develop overtime.
An eye exam will help to identify any changes in your eye health and vision, and allow you to get the treatment you need to help you continue seeing clearly and comfortably.
Contact North Toronto Medical Optometry and Vision Care today to book an eye exam and take the first step toward protecting your vision.
