Dr. Christian Crespo has worked in eye care for a significant portion of his professional career. Before deciding to pursue a career in optometry, Dr. Crespo worked 8 years as an optometric technician. Dr. Crespo completed his medical training at State University of New York College of Optometry. During his third year of Optometry school, Dr. Crespo received the 2019 Student Innovator Award for designing a 3D printed retinoscope to help address refractive error blindness in underprivileged communities. Dr. Christian Crespo further presented his innovation at the 2019 Vision Monday Global Leadership Summit. Read about his award here: SUNY Optometry’s Christian Crespo Receives 2019 Student Innovator Award   His medical rotations were at SUNY, Omni Eye Services, and Brooklyn Diabetes and Eye center where he worked alongside world-renowned vision scientists, retinal specialists, and eye surgeons. During these externships he developed a passion for ocular surface disease and management. He is invested in helping improve patients' quality of life by making their eyes feel more comfortable, and has been trained in a number of advanced dry eye therapies. Dr. Crespo is certified in the use of prescription pharmaceuticals and holds licenses to practice in New Jersey and New York. He is also a member of the New York State Optometric Physicians (NYSOA). He is driven to improve the quality of vision and eye health of his patients. In his spare time, Dr. Crespo enjoys hiking, all things soccer, and playing music.

In private practice since 1992, Dr. Doug Lambertson has been a member of the American Optometric Association since 1985 and received his degree in 1989 from State University of New York College of Optometry, New York City, where he graduated with honors. His other achievements include the David Gordon Memorial Award for Clinical ExcellenceHarry W. Hind Award for Outstanding Achievement in Contact Lens Studies, and Allergan Optical Contact Lens Research AwardDr. Lambertson is certified in the use of prescription pharmaceuticals and holds licenses to practice in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Dr. Lambertson is a therapeutic optometrist, certified in treatment and management of ocular disease, and provides comprehensive routine eye examinations to patients of all ages. Contact lens exams are also available and include fitting, training and follow-up for patients new to contact lens wear. A three-month post-cataract follow up is provided for patients after cataract surgery, and patients interested in LASIK surgery may have their consultation and pre-surgery exam with Dr. Lambertson as well as post-surgery treatment and follow-up. At every exam you can expect friendly, personal attention and service from Dr. Lambertson. Patients have expressed a high comfort level and have appreciated the quality of service and his knowledgeable explanations to their questions and concerns.
