While the winter sun might seem weaker, it can be more damaging to your eyes than the summer sun.
Snow reflects up to 80% of UV rays, increasing the risk of exposure to harmful UV radiation. This can lead to conditions like snow blindness, where UV rays burn the cornea, causing temporary vision loss and discomfort. Long-term exposure can also accelerate the development of cataracts and contribute to macular degeneration. Protecting your eyes with quality sunglasses is essential, even on cloudy winter days.
Explore our extensive collection of winter sunglasses designed for every style and need. From high-performance eyewear ideal for winter sports enthusiasts to chic, everyday options, we have something for everyone. Our sunglasses are crafted to protect without compromising on style.
Don't let the winter sun compromise your vision. Visit Sawyer Scott Eyecare Center today to find the best pair of sunglasses for your winter needs.
