Dr. Alexander Turk, O.D.
Dr. Alexander Turk, O.D., born and raised in Lake Forest, CA, earned his Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Sciences from Loyola Marymount University and completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO).
Throughout his training, Dr. Turk, O.D., gained valuable experience across diverse clinical settings. During his rotations, he served patients with the Indian Health Services in Riverside-San Bernardino County, honing his skills in managing dry eye syndrome, diabetic retinopathy, and a variety of other ocular diseases. He also trained with the Southern Nevada VA Healthcare System, where he focused on the treatment and management of complex eye diseases, including glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration.
At the Tayani Institute, Dr. Turk, O.D., developed extensive experience in collaborative eye care, learning the collaboration between optometry and ophthalmology to provide comprehensive patient care. Here, he assisted in managing pre- and post-operative cases for cataract surgery and LASIK, while also furthering his expertise in treating complex eye conditions.
In SCCO’s clinic, he broadened his skills across a wide spectrum of optometric practices, including specialty contact lenses, vision therapy, low vision care, and ocular disease management. Dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality eye care, Dr. Turk, O.D., strives to make a positive impact on each patient he serves.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. He is also passionate about all things sports, both playing and watching, and enjoys staying active in his free time.
Dr. Anne Lee, O.D.
Dr. Anne Lee, O.D., is a native Californian, from Downey and graduated with honors from UC Berkeley. It was in undergrad, before a chemistry final that she lost one of her contact lenses, and being highly myopic, she quickly realized her calling to help people see.
She graduated from SUNY Optometry in 2003, and was accepted into residency at the Tucson Veterans Affairs Hospital in 2004 with a specialty in managing ocular disease and low vision. She is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry (F.A.A.O.) and was one of only two optometrists in AZ to be selected for a national glaucoma summit where leaders join to develop the most advanced treatment protocols for the sight threatening disease-glaucoma.
Dr. Lee, O.D., has advanced optometry expertise in all types of glaucoma, diabetic retinal care, dry eye treatments, contact lens fits and in the last 15 years, she has been specializing in pediatric care, especially in the area of myopia prevention, myopia control and orthokeratology.
She resides in Manhattan Beach with her husband and twin daughters.
Dr. Julia Larson, O.D.
Dr. Julia Larson, O.D., is originally from Santa Barbara and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. She then moved to St. Louis, Missouri, for optometry school at UMSL College of Optometry. After graduation she did a residency in ocular disease, focusing on glaucoma, macular degeneration and dry eye, at the Baltimore VA Medical Center and the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Larson, O.D., comes from a family of eye care professionals. Her father is a renowned corneal specialist from Santa Barbara and her sister and mother are optometrists as well.
She lives in Manhattan Beach with her husband, a hand surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Santa Monica. Whenever they are not working, or taking care of their baby, they are out running, playing volleyball or spending time with family.
