Originally from Ohio, Dr. Michelle Diaz moved to New Hampshire as a teen. When asked what initially got her interested in eye care, Dr. Diaz relates that she was fitted for contact lenses in high school and the process intrigued her. When she spoke further about it with her eye doctor, she was encouraged to pursue optometry and see where it would take her. And from there, as they say, the rest is history! She would go on to attend Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA and graduate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.
Dr. Diaz loves being an optometrist and has a particular interest in understanding how nutrition and lifestyle affect the eyes as well as overall health. In 2017, this led her to become certified as a Functional Medicine Practitioner. Dr Diaz lives in NH with her husband and enjoys traveling, hiking, reading and being active in their church. She loves to entertain friends and spend time with family and grandkids.
