Dr. Arlene Schwartz is committed to providing comprehensive eye care of the highest quality to you, your family and your community. She is known for her thorough, unhurried approach that creates a comfortable environment for her patients. Dr. Schwartz is devoted to helping children, adults, and patients in all stages of their lives.
Working hand-in-hand with the medical community, managing eye disease, specializing in dry eye treatment, accurately fitting prescription eyeglasses, specialty contact lenses for keratoconus & eye disease, and helping children with learning related vision problems.
Dr. Schwartz has the experience and proficiency to provide outstanding treatment and preventive eye care. Dr. Schwartz began her career as an optometric technician, before graduating as a Doctor of Optometry from SUNY State College of Optometry in 1983. She was an Associate Clinical Professor on staff at the Optometric Center of New York and worked at the Levin Eye Institute and Surgery Center in Ohio.
In 1989 she returned to practice optometry in New York and the Westchester community, opening her own practice in 1997. Dr. Schwartz continues to study and is dedicated to finding the latest techniques and technology to give you state-of-the-art eye care.
She lives in Chappaqua with her husband and their three children.

Marsha Zaman O.D. is dedicated to a patient-centered approach, prioritizing the unique needs and preferences of each individual to deliver personalized care. She is committed to understanding her patients' concerns and providing tailored solutions that enhance their vision and overall eye health.
Dr. Zaman earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She continued her education at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, graduating with a Doctorate in Optometry with Honors and earning a second degree in Bachelors of Vision Science. Following her optometry degree, she completed a residency in Ocular Disease at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner Salisbury Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. During her residency, Dr. Zaman provided comprehensive eye care to American service members and worked closely with specialists in glaucoma and retina. She managed complex conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, treated ocular emergencies, and fit veterans with specialty contact lenses. In addition to her clinical duties, she lectured on various eye conditions, and presented complex cases at multiple conferences.
Dr. Zaman is particularly passionate about the transformative effects of dry eye treatment, specialty lenses, and myopia control. Fluent in English and Bengali, she values not only helping her patients achieve optimal vision but also educating them about their eye health and treatment options.
Dr. Zaman currently lives in white plains with her husband Ammad and looks forward to helping you see your best at Hartsdale Family Eyecare!
